Electronic Estate Planning

Technology allows us to live our lives with much more freedom than in the past.   70% of Americans do not have any Estate Planning documents.   One reason many of my clients give me for not previously having executed a Will is that they can't find the time to make an appointment to come into the office.    Well, that is no longer an excuse.  In 2020 Florida enacted a law authorizing the electronic execution of Wills and other Estate Planning documents.   You can set an appointment for an initial consultation by telephone or video to discuss your needs.  From there I can prepare the documents for execution and set up an appointment for you to "sign" electronically in a secure format via computer or even cell phone.  You just need to have video capability.    You receive a copy of the documents and an electronic copy is securely stored by a third party certified by the State of Florida.
